JAPT 1341

 


. JAPT 1341


JAPT 1341 is a Styrene - Butadiene Latex which uses a particular emulsifier.
JAPT 1341's particle size is larger than SBR Latex on the market and its
Tsc is higher. And also Its viscosity, Tg, surface tension are low and
Rubber Content is high. So it has a excellent Foam stability of Foam Rubber.
Because of its excellent repulsive elasticity and cell stability, it is possible
to make Foam products independently.

JAPT 1341 can improve oil-resistance by adding Acrylonitrile.

JAPT 1341 is used as waterproof agent of Foam Rubber Asphalt Plastic mixture, Latex sludge,
coating of Carpet and textile, other adhesive products .

. Characteristic


(1) JAPT 1341 has good physical properties than existing SB Latex.
Its particle size is larger than existing SB Latex, thickness is high.
And then it is so liquidation that it is possible to make Foam products independently.


(2) JAPT 1341 has excellent Foam stability and foaming because of its low Surface Tension
and small non-rubber ingredients.


(3) If you mix JAPT 1341 and NR Latex, generally viscosity rises.
But if you mix them after adding a little of Oleic acid salt and Soap to JAPT 1341, their viscosity rising tend doesn't appear nearly.

(4) When you manufacture Foam Rubber by mixing JAPT 1341 and NR Latex,
it is necessary to be precocious. In general mixture, it is suitable to be precocious for 20 hours at 30temperature.


(5) Generally, according to the mixture ratio of JAPT 1341 and NR Latex,
bending-resistance and aging-resistance are improved after vulcanization.


(6) JAPT 1341 has good store ability in winter, because of JAPT 1341's excellent stability at low temperature.

 


. Characteristic as Latex for Asphalt


(1) JAPT 1341 mixture Asphalt doesn't damage stability at high temperature of Asphalt and provents explosion. And then it improves bending strength.

(2) JAPT 1341 mixture Asphalt gives viscosity of Asphalt at low temperature, and prevents aging. And then JAPT 1341 increases durability of Asphalt by improving fatigue resistance by measures of rising viscosity.


(3) JAPT 1341 mixture Asphalt
displays effect preventing effluence of aggregate by enlargement of adhesive strength and flexibility between JAPT 1341 and aggregate. And through this process, we can get slip prevention effect of vehicles.

(4) Mixture between JAPT 1341 and Asphalt are done by simple Plant Mixing.
And you don't need to be anxious about change of physical properties by heat-aging because the mixture time is very short.



Ⅴ. Uses of JAPT 1341

In comparison with existing SB Latex, JAPT 1341 were considerably improved tensile strength,
tear strength, flexibility-resistance, compression-resistance.

Particularly, it has a good oil-resistance, isn't changed color according to sunlight.
Therefore JAPT-1341 is suitable as Foam Backing, Resin compound, Asphalt mixture, Coating of textile, Latex sludge, latex for Binder etc.



Ⅵ. Caution


Jungang polytech is sufficiently considering about its mechanical, chemical stability,
but it is required with care to treat and store as follow :


(1) It is recommended to keep at 4
40to prevent freezing.
The solidification or quality change can be occurred if it is stored below 0and over 60.

(2) Please shake well regularly or seal with tight to avoid the solidification.
The solidification can be occurred at upper and bottom if it is stored for a long period without shaking.
It can be use after remove the solidified part.

The general storage period with good product stability is about 6 months.


(3) Care not to mix with other chemicals for product stability.
It can be solidified if it is mixed with high density acid, alkali and other chemicals.

(4) It is recommended to store with stainless steel, glass-lining, alkali resistance paints, or epoxy resin lining containers.

(5) In case of eye contact, wash it out completely and ask to your physician.
In case of skin contact, wash it out with enough clean water.
